Rupa & Jay — Baby Shower Before Jiya
Before Jiya arrived, there was this day — light, playful, and filled with anticipation. Rupa and Jay’s baby shower unfolded as a joyful prelude to the life that would soon take centre stage, a moment that now sits beautifully alongside the “Good Morning Jiya” chapter we would later document. The theme was simple and charming: honey bees, curiosity, and the question — What will it bee? An all-yellow palette wrapped the space in warmth, turning it into something bright, optimistic, and quietly celebratory.
The afternoon was shaped around laughter and participation. Friends and family leaned into the silliness of it all — baby-themed games that invited everyone to let go. There were playful challenges mimicking baby routines, feeding games with bottles and pacifiers, diaper-changing races done with eyes closed, and plenty of cheering from the sidelines. Nothing polished, nothing restrained. Just adults willingly stepping into the absurdity of early parenthood, laughing at themselves, and embracing the joy of what was to come.
Looking back, this celebration feels like the beginning of a longer sentence — one that would later read Good Morning, Jiya. At BabyTCompany, we love when stories connect this way. When a baby shower isn’t just a standalone event, but the first chapter of a growing narrative. This day was about anticipation, community, and warmth — a reminder that before routines, before mornings and milestones, there is always love gathering quietly in a room, waiting to welcome someone new.
